Eda Lorello graduated from Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington, NY with her MA in Theology. She also has an MS in Pastoral Counseling from the Iona College in New Rochelle NY. Eda is certified as a Mid-Life/Long Life Directions Consultant, and as a Spiritual Director. She has trained in Music and Imagery, Mandala Assessment, and is a Reiki Master as well. Eda has served in parish ministry for 40 years, in both professional and support staff positions. As Pastoral Associate in a parish, Eda has served as Director of Religious Formation for Children & Adults, as well as Peace & Justice Activities Coordinator. She has offered workshops and retreats at spiritual centers on the East Coast of the U.S., and in Ireland. As a member of Pax Christi, Eda has served on that organization’s Executive Council. For many years, Eda has been in ministry with women, with persons with AIDS, and with those in hospice care. Now retired from parish ministry, she continues with Spiritual Direction, Pastoral Counseling and teaching when called upon, the latest being a four week workshop on Thomas Merton in a local bookstore.
