The Living Water Inclusive Catholic Community is a faith community blended from two smaller faith communities that originated in Annapolis and Baltimore, Maryland. The name of our community not only speaks to Jesus' promise to the woman at the well; it is also a prophetic name in this day of global warming. As clean water becomes an increasingly scarce commodity in parts of the world, our vision is that we will be living water to each other and to the world, caring for the earth’s resources, that there may be an abundance of life-giving water for all.
We gather as a full community on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 1:30 p.m. at St. John’s Grace United Church of Christ in Catonsville, MD for Eucharist and sacramental celebrations, fellowship, and community conversation & discernment. On other Sundays and weekdays throughout the month, we also gather in at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (Eastport MD), Churches of the Nativity/Holy Comforter (Baltimore MD), Catoctin Episcopal Parish / Harriet Chapel (Thurmont MD); in small groups in members’ homes; and in community outreach settings for Eucharist, agape meals, and pastoral outreach ministry. We welcome your questions, and hope you will visit us at our website, http://www.thelivingwatercommunity.org
