Eileen McCafferty DiFranco,  R.N., M.A.Ed., M.Div., is an ordained Roman Catholic Womanpriest who co-pastors The Community of St. Mary Magdalene in Drexel Hill, Pa. She is the first woman to preside at Dignity, Philadelphia. Recently retired from the School District of Philadelphia, Eileen is a blogger for "The Philadelphia Public School Notebook" and a contributor to Southeastern Pennsylvania Women's Ordination Conference newsletter, "Equal wRites. She is currently working on a book entitled, "How To Keep Your Parish Alive When Your Pastor Declares It Dead." She also serves as the chair of the Denominational Concerns committee with the Federation of Christian Ministries. Eileen resides with her husband Larry in Philadelphia.
